Rebar earth stakes are available in several styles and lengths. They may be used with or without rope or belts for attaching and cinching. Half-inch rebar is used to produce the stakes - in 2, 3 and 4-foot lengths. Tips on stakes are machined to a point for ease in installation.
All stakes may be installed permanently or used as temporary holding devices, removed and reused. Install by hand, with mallet or slide hammer, depending on conditions.
Washer Top Stakes: Like giant soil nails, these stakes can be used to solve many landscape and erosion control challenges. Washer-top stake installed into sock covers the insertion hole with the washer. Can be driven between bags on vegetated retaining wall installations and deep into the parent material behind the structure for additional reinforcement. Use to hold prairie sod, turf sod firmly to the earth until rooting is accomplished. Works well with landscape fabric and geogrid.
