Consultant Biographies

Eric Mader, M.Ag.

Eric Mader is a pollination beekeeper and horticultural consultant with a Masters Degree in Agriculture from the University of Minnesota. His professional background includes a staff horticulturist position with the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum in Roseville Minnesota, and as pest management specialist with the USDA Risk Management Agency.

Mr. Mader’s company, Midori Horticultural Services, provides crop scouting for specialty growers, tree and landscape appraisals, and managed pollination using native bees. He is an ISA certified arborist, and a licensed tree inspector in the State of Minnesota.

He currently lives in Madison, and is writing a book on native bee management and conservation for the USDA.
