Consultant BiographiesPamela Porter, M.S. Pamela Porter has 21 years of experience in environmental and agricultural policy, government relations and business development.
Ms. Porter has served as an agronomist for the University of Wisconsin’s Nutrient and Pest Management Program and as Executive Director of Wisconsin’s Environmental Decade, the state’s largest environmental organization. In 1992, she worked with Agrecol Corporation as Product Development Director, helping to initiate their native plant nursery, seed production fields and Wild Attraction™ product line.
Ms. Porter has an M.S. in Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin Madison, conducting research on use of Switchgrass (
Panicum Virgatum L.) as mid-summer forage. Since that time, she has served as Senior Aide to Governor Jim Doyle, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Elizabeth Burmaster and Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
