This Mesic Mixed-Height Native Prairie is 5' - 6' in height and features many colorful blooming wildflowers.
This mix includes both tall and short-stature grasses; the short stature grasses are seeded at a higher rate initially to minimize the chances the tall grasses will eliminate them. This mix includes many wildflowers that are not dependent on either very wet or very dry conditions.
Soils that will support normal lawns or row crops are appropriate for mesic prairies.
Several hours of direct sunlight are required.
