Wet prairies typically grow in deep rich soils that are high in organic matter. They also occur in areas where the drainage is poor or in spots that collect water from the surrounding landscape. Wet prairies can survive saturated soil conditions or ponded water for short periods of time, especially after the plants are established.
Our Wet Prairie mix includes a diverse blend of grasses, sedges, and wildflowers to recreate the appearance of naturally occurring wet prairies. This mix will grow best in full sun.
